Remarks

Known for being part of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ collection, this watch was issued to the British Military during the Second World War.

It has a steel stepped case, which measures at an attractive 38mm and features fixed lug bars. Its dial is matte black with a prominent Broad Arrow symbol, luminous cathedral hands and luminous hour plots.

Inside is the manually wound Longines Cal. 12.68Z movement. On the back, all military markings and numbers are present and clear: reference number, case number, Broad Arrow symbol, WWW marking and issue number. The case number "13xx" is also repeated on the top right lug and matches the case back.

Already rare, this example’s lovely original condition makes it very desirable. Its dial and luminous are well-preserved given its age and its military markings and numbers are complete and correctly match, making it one of the better examples we can find these days.
